Photonic Therapy operates from an idyllic setting within an Area of Outstanding
Natural Beauty in the Vale of Clwyd below the historic hill top fort of Moel
Arthur in North Wales.
Having grown up on a Welsh hill farm where horses and dogs were used for work and pleasure, Liz Scrivener the owner of Gales Photonic Therapy, developed an insight into the behaviour of animals. This is enhanced by her deeper understanding of the physiology of both horses and dogs necessary for her creative work in her animal and portrait painting.
With a long interest in alternative healing therapies, initially for herself and her own animals, Liz discovered the Brian McLaren Photonic Therapy method whilst attending a Parelli Natural Horsemanship Clinic.
After this initial contact, Liz developed the interest through contact with Brian McLaren and after attending several training sessions, some of which including personal coaching with Brian McLaren, Liz is now the only registered level three practitioner and distributor in the UK.
Photonic Therapy uses red light to stimulate acupuncture points and transfers energy across cell membranes. In 1989, sufficient detailed scientific information was available to help people understand the interaction of light with tissue. It is now possible to introduce it as a rational, scientific, advanced method of treatment using physics, biochemistry, phylogenetics, anatomy and acupuncture in its teaching. It is important not to be frightened off by the science, as each step will be explained during training and you will see how it all comes together to form a whole.
Red light was used as early as the 14th Century in the treatment of smallpox and in the 20th Century, Niels Finsen was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his work in treating smallpox and TB with light.
