Ribs
I heard about Photonic Therapy through a friend and was initially sceptical. I had been having problems with my ribs for some time and after three courses of Physiotherapy and numerous hospital visits, I didn’t seem to be getting anywhere. So when I heard about Liz I thought why not give it a go…. At this point I was willing to try anything!! After the first session I felt heaps better then following two further sessions I have had no further problems and to date have felt fantastic. I have now decided to purchase a torch together with the equine kit and would strongly recommend people give it a fair try, not only can it help you but your horse or dog I think it’s an absolute necessity for any horse owner. If it can work for me it can work for you. Big thank you to Liz for her help and continued support!!

Hips and Hot flushes
My daughter began having Photonic Therapy with Liz and so I decided to go along with her and see what it was all about. Having suffered with my lower back and hips for years it didn’t even enter my head that this treatment could help me also. Following the first session I went home completely pain free. After the second session I felt even better and haven’t had any lower back pain since. I feel much more lively and energetic and generally better in myself. Liz also helped me with regard to hot flushes I had been having several times per week and after just one session I haven’t had a hot flush since, which has been over a week. My daughter has now purchased a pen, which we all think is money well spent. Thanks again Liz.

Smoking
I have tried to give up smoking before, using patches, but found the cravings too difficult to shift. On New years day I tried again, this time with the help of the torch... I gave up the patches after a week, and continued with the torch. Every time I felt like lighting up I would apply the torch to a point in my ear, till the craving eased . This time it was much easier, and the cravings sifted more quickly. Last time I put on 10lbs, which took two years to lose. This time I haven't put on any weight at all, and it doesn't bother me a bit to be around other people still smoking . It is two months now, and I'm still a smoke free zone!!

R M, having met and spoken with Brian McL himself when he was over here in 2002, has also successfully given up smoking using the torch. The cravings eased after four days. He was very anxious not to put on weight after giving up, so also used the appetite reduction points at the same time, and gradually lost a stone and a half...wow...can't be bad! He, too, is still a smoke free zone.

Headaches
Thank you so much for introducing the photonic therapy to me. I cannot go without it now - I carry it with me. It is a miracle cure for my headaches and neck/shoulder pain. I have always suffered from headaches, but after a head injury a few months ago, they have been unbearable. Along with the headaches I have had constant nausea. I also tend to get migraines where I can't swallow any painkillers as they won't stay down for a minute. I previously have been unable to get any relief, regardless of what I do and sometimes have to spend 12 hours or more in a dark room, in pain. Since the head injury, I have been unable to work and it has affected my whole life. But now with my torch, I can get rid of the headaches - I go through my book and look up the symptoms I am experiencing and put the torch on those places. Other times I just put the torch on the painful areas. I do this when I have neck problems - due to injuries I get a lot of pain in my neck which results in muscle spasms and affects my neck, shoulder and often my arm. I run the torch over the area and it sticks on the bad areas, so I leave it there until the torch glides smoothly over it. It's amazing how the area loosens up and it gives such relief.

baby with colic
I have been using page 80 for him for the gripes, I found it after emailing you and it works. Which is great news as the poor little mite was having a really hard time with grumbles and pain!

.... the torch is very good! I used it tonight for depression - baby blues hit me for a while but feel positively cheerful and like myself again - rather than a catastrophic failure and terrible mother which is what I thought about four hours ago.

I have been treating my mum because she fell and damaged her ankle. She was on crutches and the hospital said it would take at least 6 weeks to heal. 2.5 weeks in and she is walking her dog again! How great is that??
Also more good news:
I started treating her chest yesterday as she has chronic bronchitis since having an operation for lung cancer (she is fine now). For the last few weeks she has had some congestion on her lungs and hasn't been able to shift it. I treated her last night and she slept like a log and for the first time she hasn't needed her inhalers first thing in the morning - as you might gather, she is over the moon!
She has just rung me and is raving about it!

Had a problem with my knees the other day when I could hardly walk, I was getting really worried aboout it, so I used the torch when I went to bed, I ran it round both knees and did GB-38 on both legs, when I got up the next morning it had nearly gone, they were a tiny bit sore but I was amazed, I think that has really convinced me the torch really works!

SLANEY was
given to me in August 2004 as a “project
horse” and companion to my own. He is TB x ID, 6 yrs old. He had
a very unfortunate accident as a yearling, which has left him with big
scars over his near hip and hock, and up on the inside of his off hind.
I believe it was nine months for him to mend from those. He was started
as a 4yr old and passed on to a pony club girl, who has done a wonderful
job with him, but every time they got him fit enough for pony club events
etc, he would start well and then in their words, “his wheels would
start to fall off”, and he would go lame and lose condition.
They tried everything they could think of to help him, but to no avail. He has a wonderfully uncomplicated nature, and they felt he would make a good companion horse to the right home, but they would not be able to guarantee his soundness.
He was used as one of the demonstration horses for the Photonic Therapy
School in September 2004 when Brian McLaren was here.
While
Brian was demonstrating the diagnostic technique, Slaney began to bite
himself quite strongly on the top of his forearm. Brian explained that
Slaney was biting at a Meridian Lung pt. The lung meridian looks after
the skin, and scarring is a “skin” problem.
So he was “showing” us where he needed the help (he was in
fact “self medicating”). On the first day, the hip scar was
very black and shiny, and the one down the front of the hocks still very
pronounced and “lumpy” with scar tissue. The following day
the students were astonished to see how greyed out the hip scar had become,
and the hock scar had considerably softened.
... same hip scar just before Christmas 2005
We took his shoes off when he arrived in August and has been “barefoot” trimmed since. He was quite stiff and “ bracey” to ride, and fairly clumsy around the place. He has been regularly treated with Photonic Therapy, has become much more supple, is holding his condition and has so far stayed sound. His near fore hoof was quite turned in when he arrived and even that has straightened up considerably in 4 months.
It will be interesting to see how he fares over the summer.

One happy horse !

"I've torn some ligaments in my knee. The doctor is amazed by the improvement in my knee already. I explained about the use of the torch and that it has helped and improved me incredibly. He seemed very dubious at first, but is now seeing the improvement with his own eyes. With the use of the torch I was walking within a few days, and the doctor had initially told me I would be on crutches for at least 2 weeks before I could begin to walk properly. The doctor said he thought it would take 8 to 10 weeks before I could function pretty much as normal, but I'm feeling so much better that I think I will be able to ride in about a week, so my recovery will have only taken 4 weeks in total."

MENELEK LORD... July 2004
A young friend arrived on my yard asking for help with her horse “Harry”.
She had bought him as a school master point to point prospect for herself.
In hand, he was a relatively kind and gentle horse, but under saddle he
became very unpredictable and spooky. Also, although he loaded fine, he
would get very stressed while travelling, no matter how carefully she drove,
so taking him anywhere was becoming difficult too. She had covered everything
she could think of…had his teeth checked saddle/ back checked. She
was beginning to accept his behaviour as that of a highly strung, fit racehorse
and was losing confidence in her own ability to handle him.
She was at the point of not being able to sell him or even give him away,
as no-one would look at him. She came to me because of my interest in
the Natural Horsemanship style of horse handling. She was prepared to
give him to me if I was interested in taking him on. We decided on a
three week trial, and if at any time she wanted to change her mind and
persevere with him, that would be fine.
I went to collect him, and sure enough, once in the trailer he began to wind himself up. I used the Photonic Therapy torch on his calming points, and waited till he settled (10-20 minutes) and brought him home, followed by my young friend. He travelled very calmly, and waited peacefully in the trailer, while we sorted ourselves out. He unloaded calmly and settled straight in. My young friend was stunned, and felt exonerated in her belief that he was still a kind horse underneath all that troubled behaviour and she changed her mind there and then to persevere with him...and so it became a joint venture for the next three weeks.
When I ran over Harry with the Photonic Therapy diagnostic pen, he showed that he was sore through the neck and shoulders. He reacted to points all the way along his back and was particularly sore along the sacroiliac/ quarters area. I used the torch on the standard points and anywhere he had flinched, and checked out scars and old injuries. I repeated it again 2 days later. In all, he had six treatments while he was with me.
Using the Natural Horsemanship philosophies and methods we began to develop
a language and established communication. He struck me as being a very
unconfident, insecure horse whose one idea, when confused, was to “run”!
By the end of the first week my young friend was riding him out in a Parelli
halter and bareback (Actually she had forgotten to bring her saddle!).
She was astonished by the change in him. Once he had stopped hurting, he
became a very willing student, and was a highly intelligent, gentle horse
under that manic behaviour.
10
days later we took him to a fun ride (having dealt with his trailer loading
phobia). He travelled very calmly along side my horse, and behaved very
well when he got there, standing politely and calmly to be saddled. I started
the ride on Harry and my young friend rode my horse as “nanny”.
Later we swapped over and she rode Harry home. Although Harry had odd moments
of winding up, he also quickly came down again. We arrived back on the
field as calm as calm, much to the astonishment of an onlooker who knew
the horse from before and couldn’t believe it was the same one.
... Harry standing on the front ramp enjoying the Hay!
Harry has now returned home, and last I heard was doing well.
My young friend now has her own torch and signed up for the Photonic Therapy School with Brian McLaren himself, that we held here at Gales Photonic Therapy in September 2004.
